Erin Perkins is a photo journalist, writer and photographer based out of Czar, Alberta, Canada, located 200 kilometres south east of Edmonton. She has 12 years of photography experience in everything from house fires to baby photos. She began her career as a journalist and photojournalist for community papers on Vancouver Island. She has also worked for 18 months as the Beaufort Delta Bureau Chief for Northern News Service in Inuvik, North West Territories, and as a writer/photographer for a Media Relations and Marketing Department at what is now Vancouver Island University, the same place she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree with an English Major from. Her work has appeared in many newspapers, marketing materials, magazines, and in government publications throughout Canada.

She loves to capture those unexpected, unorchestrated moments life has to offer whether on assignment for a publication or while photographing a wedding.
